About the youth dance program: Unique to KYL/D, CHI Awareness Practice is essential to the professional ensemble and its youth programming. CHI Awareness Practice has been cultivated for over 20 years by Artistic Director, Kun-Yang Lin, which focuses on developing the relationship of the moving body to breath, awareness, and mindfulness. These themes of breath, awareness, and mindfulness are brought into all programming at KYL/D, including youth classes.
